Ph.D. Daniela Zuzolo
Researcher - University of Sannio, Department of Science and Technologies

Daniela Zuzolo is Researcher of Environmental and Applied Botany at the University of Sannio and lecturer in Plant Conservation Biology within the Master Degree course in Natural Sciences (University of Sannio). She has carried out scientific work continuously since 2015 to date and has resulted in 37 publications in peer-reviewed journal and co-author of 4 Monographs. The research activity of Daniela Zuzolo can be summarized in two main lines of research. The first one focuses plants-environment interactions at metaorganism level. In particular, the research is oriented to explore the role of plant-microorganism interactions in the abiotic stress response and the biogeochemical cycle of contaminants. A second research line focuses on plant biodiversity conservation/valorization and the investigation of complex aspects of landscape (at both spatial and temporal scales) to evaluate ecological and ecosystem services changes. Daniela Zuzolo experienced more than 20 participation at national and international scientific congresses, many organizations of scientific conferences and participation in research projects. She is also active in promoting an ecocentric approach in environmental education programmes.
